Congratulations to Sedonia Isenbart on being selected as the recipient of the NIAAA Student Athlete Scholar award for the state of Colorado. In accordance with National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association’s (NIAAA) purpose to promote, facilitate and increase the knowledge and understanding of the vital role of interscholastic athletics in the educational system, this scholarship program fosters and recognizes the partnership between the NIAAA and secondary education. The scholarships will recognize the distinguished scholastic, leadership and sportsmanship attributes of high school student-athletes, and the importance of high school athletics in each student’s life. As stated in her award letter, Sedonia's outstanding achievements and contributions to athletics and academics have truly set her apart. Her remarkable accomplishments and commitment to both athletics and academics make her a shining example of student-athlete excellence. Sedonia's application has been forwarded to the "Section VI" representative in Oklahoma for consideration in the national selection process. Sedonia will present her winning essay at the awards luncheon at the CADA Conference in April. Once again, congratulations on this well deserved recognition, Sedonia!
